We are looking for line cooks to join our crew. Our line cooks are the ones who execute our signature menu items that dazzle the customers and keep them coming back for more. They are the folks that make sure that everything they create is 100% up to our standards. We need line cooks who demand perfection in everything they do, who always seek to raise the bar for themselves and their teammates, who strive to do it even better next time, who cut their teeth on customer service, and who can rock it out on the line.
We want people who are laser-focused on their work and want to create the best dining experience in Kitsap by preparing dishes that help guests connect with their food and Crabtree kitchen + bar.
To be a line cook with us, you must be hard-working, motivated to learn and grow and be a reliable teammate. Our cooks must be able to focus, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to multi-task under pressure. Line cooks must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be on their feet the entire time – standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc. Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds regularly (tubs, racks, boxes, etc).. Line cooks are frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise. Attention to detail, ability to read tickets accurately and verbally communicate and listen accurately are required. Our staff are all part of a larger team so being able to work well with others, direct support staff, pitch in and help wherever it is needed, and communicate effectively is a must. Ideal candidate has been a cook in similar restaurants and has 3+ years experience in the kitchen; high school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
